Why not the man himself? I didn't know an office could be held in contempt. It wasn't me, the head of the office, it was the office. It wasn't me that was speeding.... my car was. Give it the ticket. Did the SCOTUS rule that offices are people too?
Exactly right. I never let my kids get away with “the office did it”

Talk. Talk. Talk…….

Last time I looked, owners/directors are ultimately legally responsible for the actions of their corporations. No one should avoid subpoenas without penalty and no one should play the court system to manufacture delays, limit investigations and deflect attention. What a waste of taxpayer’s money and judicial time.

It is as if everyone is stalling, looking around and hoping to find an excuse not to arrest him. And Trump is relying on that.

Indite and jail the fucker now. So many crimes to choose from. Why not all of them at the same time, so people can be reminded of and fully appreciate the enormity of his criminal achievements?

So Peru takes like a day to lock up their president and we seemed destined to have Trump die of old age before anything happens?

Playing politics with the justice system is proof of corrupt, prejudicial, weak and ineffective governance which needs to be overthrown. Apply the law.

Lock Trump and his cabal up and throw away the key. Other extremists may then get around to respecting your laws and constitution.
fact is that if you were to follow the laws, a treasonous spy should be put to death in America.....

Citizens United says that corporations are people.... And are therefore entitled to certain liberties that there to fore were not available to them...
BUT It seems now that corporations can commit crimes w/o serving time in prison....
Something smells funky 'round here.

The Trump Organization lost a secret trial and was held in contempt of court for defying grand-jury subpoenas

A judge held the Trump Organization in contempt of court in 2021 after the organization lost a secret one-day trial over its refusal to comply with grand-jury subpoenas and court orders, according to The New York Times, which first reported on the trial.
That cost the Trump Org a grand $4000. Whoopee.

It may not matter. It might be better to watch it's political capital wither. Once it is mortally wounded, a beneficial god named Brandon, will pardon it. God Bless Brandon, he goes to church.

$4K is a lot less than the lawyer fees for actually responding to the court. Sounds like the Trump Org made the right call to save money.

Another judicial joke.

I have no desire to emulate Peru. We are playing by our rules and must follow them. That means protecting the rights of the accused. We are doing that. If Trump croaks before he is charged…well… um…I am trying to think of the most delicate and respectful way to say this…

we should be so fucking lucky.
