"Moderna actually collected data from people who only received one dose of its vaccine, Gill says. Some 2,000 participants in Moderna’s phase three clinical trial received just a single injection of either a placebo or the vaccine. In that population, the efficacy of the single vaccine dose was roughly 80 to 90%."

That's what I meant, but it was corrected by JonRowe. So all in all, we don't really know, like so often.

What was corrected by JonRowe referred to the Pfizer vac, not Moderna.  But i agree that we peons don't really know.  I'm getting my first Moderna vac next Tuesday.  Wish me luck.

Very interesting.  So he did confirm that he foil flaps on each side work independently.  It does sound like they have a cohesive strategy on the control surfaces with the computer linking them.  I remember AM saying they they had to get the feeling right between the three people who controlled the surfaces (sounds more prone to feel adjustments instead of number optimizations.

One dose provides significantly better protection  than no dose. Generally I am all for the precautionary principle, including using medications in the way they were tested. The middle of a pandemic is maybe time to shake off some rigidity in thinking.
