^ one of the good bits in that article,

Meanwhile a recent announcment that the second Ineos Britannia AC75 foiling monohull yacht from the last America’s Cup had been donated to a sailing museum in Cowes has left sailing fans scratching their heads on what larger boat the British crew will train on before the team’s new AC75 – still at concept stage right now – sees the light of day.
Bicycles… in the hills around Mallorca.

Not sure the Solent was ever on for Ineos since they had issues with the infamous Solent tides causing calibration issues on foil design. A detail I can well empathise with.

Not sure about that. If you look at the history of the other AC - the Admiral's Cup - there isn't very much evidence of home team advantage. http://www.rorc.org/admiral-s-cup

Oh dear, this looks more fun to me than the AC75s.

Agreed on this! Palma has also consistent Weather even in the European Winter. I'd say good move for the Sailing Team + as been mentioned the Island has relativ high mountains, good for cycling. I am pretty convinced all the Teams will have Cyclors in AC37.

Having said all that it ultimativly though comes down to the INEOS Britannia Design Team and for the matter the Mercedes Applied Science Division if Ben & the Sailing Squad will have a competitive Boat in BCN 2024 they can play with.

And to be perfectly honest I am not sure they will have a competitive one. The less is currently said about Mercedes, the better. They monkied up everything when it comes to their Car for this Season.

Oh fuck off, with your 20-20 hindsight about the cycling.

as for Merc? You know there are 7 other teams that wish their cars were as bad as the Mercedes.

.It's almost unbelievable just how often you manage to say the wrong thing at exactly the right moment. Since you wrote this, the upgrades on the Mercedes has changed everything. 2nd and 3rd in Friday's practice with Russell and Hamilton both happy for the first time this season. Hamilton said "It is positive. I am super happy with the progress. We're not the quickest yet but I think we're on our way".

These Mercedes Clowns have no, ZERO Chance of winning the Championship this year.

Took another monument in Roubaix, and made the racing the whole way through. First time in a long time they don't have a realistic challenge for Paris in July so the pivot to the classics has been quite impressive actually.
Saying that they have exclusivly pivoted to the Classics is a bit premature to say don't you think? Yes, unlikely the can content for the TdF this year but Richard Carapaz has just taken over the Maglia Rosa of the Giro d'Italia today.

Of Course there is still one incredibly hard week to come with lots of Mountain Passes but so far so good. The 3rd Week in Giro, Tour or Vuelta is always the hardest.

I believe the use of 'here' at the end is redundant.
Will bite since I am bored while on a beautiful afternoon with no AC anything going on.

Am sure our problem-child friend has good insights into other subjects besides bicycling. Perhaps we (okay you guys) could coax him into meaningful discussions about the latest British boxing and/or (even better fun) figure skating activities? :)

You certainly come across as a nice person. I would find it hard to consider he has any good insights on any subject. Even on a beautiful afternoon with not much else on.
