I think it showed they had learnt some lessons since the T6 turtle.
When capsized they lost control of one of the cant arms, so whilst not completely analogous to the T6 situation where they lost control of everything, but similar issue with having enough stability when initially righted. This time they made the call to attach a buoy early to prevent turtling in the event of a follow up capsize.
In the end it came up and stayed up, so the buoy wasn't needed and it cut the sail short. But better to certainly lose a few hours of sailing than risk losing a few weeks.

From the video it looked like getting a floatation buoy prepared was SOP, but p'raps that's only when Sirben shows up?
I'm guessing their boat house looks more like a ski chalet..... with a big drying room?

I wish I could share that optimism BUT no I can't mate! This Team is complete CHAOS! Has Ben won anything in two years since winning the Prada Cup Round Robin Series & the Bermuda GP in 2021?

The quote from Albert Einstein I posted I think a week ago applies 100 % to this Team. They and particularly Ben are doing the same things over and over again and expect different Results. Nope, it ain't and it will not work.
This Team needs a complete "Shake Up" to be competitive in 2024. I would not be surprised if the French beat them.

You mean doing exactly the same apart from different designers, tie up with F1 from the start instead of too late, different base, different priorities, different design of test boat.

A little bit of a frustrating Day today for me as I was rooting for Filippo Ganna to win Milano - San Remo but that flying Dutch Cyclist Mathieu van de Pol, who won the Tour of Flanders last year, pipped him.
But that was one heck of a close Race though!
I am still a bit flummoxed why Italians struggle in this Race so much. Maybe it is because of the length? 293 KM, that is the longest One-Day Cycling Race.

I remember when he won the Gold medal, we talked about this. I said to you INEOS should hire Dylan to the AC team and that he was the future. And you said there was no way Fletcher Scott could get on that boat and and match skill with Ainslie. You said he's a kid, he's dangerous, he can't match Ainslie for skill and that he was a "Prolly clown" and now you're singing his praises.
