Damn! That's a sweet boat! 74 built so how come we never saw any on Eastern Long Island Sound back in the day? None that I recall anyway...

Yep,
"Pegasus". But we sailed the race under the name of our sponsor, "Checkers Hyper". A supermarket group, so we ate well.

^^^ Dammit, I had so much fun on the 'Burgundy Barge.' That pic was 82 Clipper Cup, just about to finish off Waikiki. It was quite special short tacking with the heavy #1. Six heavies on the handles, and two more on the forward pedestals on the tacking line. Very happy days.

To the best of my knowledge Snow White sunk, fell off a wave in a local NZ race (Auckland / White Island race) and put the mast through the bottom
