The hilarity just doesn't stop...first it was their completely over the top hype with all sorts of ridiculous build up to...a long awkward silence...now they are going to deliver with...a punch line? (and endless fodder for ongoing mockery...)

Seems like the plan is to have one start and "equalize" for different weight classes-small rig+more RM for the lilliputians, big rig and short RM for the fatties.
78 to 83kg weight classes, wahoo, gonna...corner the already saturated market segment...

The copy on the website is riddled with errors (lenght, agronomic, reenforced, access to hall systems, £86 list price)... either it's been hacked or their QC is awful... wonder how quickly that will get fixed.
To my mind the gap in the market they are aiming for has already been filled by the Aero and to a lesser extent the Dzero and the Melges.
For his boat to succeed, it will have to be , a lot cheaper than the above boats or simply a better boat or marketed better .

I agree with most of that, but agronomics is a perfectly reasonable method for ranking new OD's. It's a measure of the original cost of a boat compared to the amount of money you make after it becomes a garden planter growing saleable goods...

New link also has errors. Broken links leading to 404s. The brochure link takes you to the Cascais link. Gallery picutres link is just computer renderings. The Learn More button takes you to their global landing site. Why can't they get their crap together? It does appear from the incorrect brochure link that the Cascais brochure has been updated to now show more details on the XD and Race rigs. The Race rig now features pretty prominently in the brochure.

Unfortunately LP expects to be out of stock on the new boat til 2023. Spare parts will be sporadically available in 2026.
One feature they have adopted from Portuguese-made Sunfish of all things as a standard feature is the deck will crack during your first month of use.
Also I think the name stinks. Port is the “unfavored” tack vs Starboard. Boat should have been the Starstar or maybe the Starport.
