Seriously I still have doubts about the quoted 30 kg weight, but I am not going to make any rash statements as I don’t want to risk any more hair .

I like the design and it addresses an issue I have with the Aero and D-Zero which is their shallow cockpits. Looking forward to seeing how it performs in real life, not holding my breath but I do hope it's a success.

ALL of these elements have been significantly lacking from the builder for some years now...  Anyone expecting some kind of major turn around?

Melges 14 is by far the nicest looking of the Laser, devoti, aero bunch. Shame it has no halyard.

Personally I think it’s the worst looking , even the Pornstar is better looking 

But as they say beauty  is the eye of the beholder .

That looks like it was designed by someone who has never sailed a dinghy, but once looked at a D One from a great distance.  There must be something nice about it, but just not seeing it yet.  Wide, but single toe strap.  Ergonomics looks like a version 1 prototype.  Half finished mainsheet system, what's the funny bridle for the ratchet block for?  That bit of orange cover round the front of the mast can't be a final version?  Not sure what the separate moulding around the mast step is for, except to look cool, and add complexity and expense, can they not design and build a hull stiff enough without it?  It's got a flat screen thing behind the mast, so it must be very tech.  I'm out.

Err sorry as a European sailor I totally disagree with this statement. 
Sunfish are [email protected]@t and it they were the only available thing to sail for me  , I just wouldn’t sail .

In the uk we have classes that have been dead for 30 years that 100% better than a sunfish .

As a European you are incapable of understanding such brilliant American inventions as college sports, root beer, ranch dressing, and right turn on red. So I am not surprised that you don't get why the Sunfish is so popular in America, either. Your loss.
