When this model can encapsulate every vessel, make, model, etc...

Would you consider using it to help you buy your next boat?
Do you think your fellow boat lovers would use something like this for their next vessel purchase?

Any other thoughts are appreciated - just a little background on why I built this - my friends and I we're thinking of going in together on our first boat but we had no idea what we wanted to get. The prototype works quite well and I'm just looking for some market validation before I continue building this.

P.S. We ended up buying a Hallsberg Rassy 40c

But I can't wait to see your next boat. Oh trust me, this probably won't be the boat that you had wished it would be - especially as a first time boat owner. (I do however still truly hope that you very much enjoy your first boat!)

I know you've thought of budget into your calcs, that's the easy one (and what most blogs and articles focus on). But what does it rate, if it rates anything? (My boat didn't as it's 1 of 6 in the world, BUT it was a race boat). How hard or easy is it to sail with 1 person, or with 10? Does it tip over when you step onto it from the dock and make you spill your beer? Is it even feasible to replace a seacock for your average diyer, or is it behind 7 layers of tanks and teak? Some aspects of boats are very, very subjective.

I built a spreadsheet with the things that i was looking for during my last boat search, but I promise 80% of other boat owners don't give a damn about righting moment at 1 deg. There's about a zero percent chance that your program would provide a meaningful answer for me tbh.

Perhaps you can narrow your focus to "an ai that suggests your very first boat from a list of mass produced boats". That seems a bit more doable.

I want to see how diverse of a set of ‘must haves’ it can handle. Can it do better then this forum, where many responders to a thread inevitably ignore one of the OP’s primary requirements (monohull, solo mast stepping, little details like that). Can a computer do better? I also want to see if I can get the AI to recommend ferrocement.

Just go sailing, it's more enjoyable than trying to extract money from sailors.
