Think so. The trailer for Wicked 2.0 is in a shop in RI, getting some TLC. Hopefully, we'll be able to get BLUR north in the next few weeks.🤞So did you find a trailer?
Cool! Thats the better choice. There is a converted J/105 goose neck trailer up there, just siting and it's okay, but that one is a better choice. Sorry I have not been on this board in a while, I missed this whole thing. I almost wish I was still in RI so I could come by and say hello.Think so. You should do J/111 Great Lakes Championships at Ugotta Regatta in Harbor Springs, Michigan. It is a half day sail south of Mackinac and has some of the best sailing conditions in the Great Lakes with a standard Westerly Sea Breeze of 12-16 knots. Quaint town with good regatta parties. Most of the Mackinac boats will be doing it and it should be the largest gathering of J/111s in the World in 2023 with 15-20 boats. 3 buoy races on Friday and then 1 Bay Tour race on Saturday and Sunday. Great marina in town there for pulling boats (Irish Boat Shop).Should work out...
June 2nd, Start Bermuda One-Two to Bermuda
June 15th, Start Bermuda to Newport
June 22-ish, de-rigging and ready for transport to Chicago
July 15th, arrival in Chicago, splashing
July 23rd Start Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac

We're looking into this. Crew is one thing. Getting hold of a decent set of OD-jibs another.Registration is open for j/111 Great Lakes Champs Ugotta Regatta in Harbor Springs July 28-30 just 4 days after Chicago Mackinac and a half day sail from Mackinac. We should get close to 20 boats making it the largest J/111 regatta in the world in 2023. I hope you can join us. The regatta does sell out. https://yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eID=15520
I can help you on both fronts if you need it. There is a local boat in Harbor Springs that has an arsenal of barely used OD jibs that they would probably charter you for a reasonable price that I could put you in touch with. We're looking into this. But we're working on it.

Peter I sent you an email.Somewhat of a crisis here.
The boat and the newly renovated trailer are at Cracker Boy in West Palm Beach, FL, and I looking for an alternate solution to getting it to NEB, Newport, RI. Ideally, someone who knows the J/111, can load the boat, winterize the engine and do the transport (including permits etc).
If you can recommend someone, drop an email to [email protected].
