My understanding is they will be remeasured before Transpac. So to that degree there will be transparency on what they actually are. Both Argo4 and us were remeasured this year .Maybe some transparency? Or will that all rectify itself before the Transpac...
Yes. I thought that was normal and fully within the rules. For Pac Cup, at least. I don't know what the Transpac rules are.So long as they don't move those stores during the race it's not indication of any kind of malfeasance.
Transpac is notoriously a starboard tack race to the point it has rules about how much a boat can list to starboard at the start IIRC. Would you not plan to stow your drinking water to Starboard before the start in any base case?
Pretty obvious yellow topping lift on the stbd side of the main, but sure.....3.36 Boom Support A boat over 30' LOA (9.14m) shall have a means to prevent the boom from dropping if support from the mainsail or halyard fails.
