Not kidding.
PJ Hervey is also a complete mystery to me, as is Nick Cave and Jeff Buckley, and 99% of classical music. I have tried hard, and failed on the latter. 2001 Space Odessy was as close as I got.
There are others too, really famous that I just don't get. They appear to be part of some mass delusion of 'good' that I was sick that day for the lesson. I doubt myself on this and feel lacking in some way, but there you go.

Music has been a big part of my life, still is. I just have blind spots, or a bullshit filter maybe.
Some of my best memories are of concerts, festivals and special moments with music as the soundtrack.

I really like Patti Amith's voice. and her music has a rawness to it that make it alive. I also like her views (at least in her songs) about religion.

Because I have done it both ways, I do not recommend shrooms for large events, it works sometimes yeah, but not the best approach. MDMA is the only way to go for that
It worries me that people are looking for something like VR and shrooms. These things are more than just a mind fuck. Although I am not particularly 'spiritual', I know enough not to disrespect these things, it can go badly wrong.
For curious people, it should be done in the daytime, outdoors with responsible people. Nature is what is required for a profound experience, not a dark room or VR.
