So maybe he’s the one who can finally explain how a sail produces lift…

Congrats!
Well, he certainly understands the end plate effect...

Damn, another year I'm passed over...

It is also interesting to note John Clauser's passion for sailing, which reminds us that scientists are not just researchers but also individuals with diverse interests and hobbies. This award is a well-deserved recognition of their significant contributions to physics and a source of inspiration for future generations of physicists. The work of Aspect, Clauser, and Zeilinger has paved the way for numerous developments in quantum communication, cryptography, and computation, which have the potential to revolutionize information technology. They also inspired me to develop this website https://plainmath.net/ which I hope will help the young generation to know more about physics and math. Their achievements highlight the importance of interdisciplinary research and collaboration in advancing our understanding of the physical world.

It is truly exciting to see Alain Aspect, John F. Clauser, and Anton Zeilinger being jointly awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics 2022 for their groundbreaking work on entangled photons and their contributions to quantum information science. Their experiments with entangled photons and the violation of Bell inequalities have opened up new avenues for understanding the fundamental nature of quantum mechanics and its potential applications in information processing. And it's also very nice that they have hobbies like all other people and they have time to be happy.
