Did a quick lookup at Accor. Yes, looks like a perfect sponsor, they are pretty cool.So far, it appeared that the sponsorship of Accor is also already signed for AC38. If it's really true, it's a tremendous add for K-challenge.
As well, the budget gathered so far, is at a level that none french challenge knew since three decades.
There are too late to be really competitive for the AC37, but obviously for the AC38 it will be a whole other story.
QD has some shockingly good results in SailGP lately including at least once a 3 boat Finale. Am sure he's one hell of a helm. For the helmsman, they will have to not forget that AC it's a full match race competition, against the bestest in the world.
I'm not sure of the abilities of Delapierre in this field.
I do not really follow sailgp, is there some match racing at some point ?QD has some shockingly good results in SailGP lately including at least once a 3 boat Finale. Am sure he's one hell of a helm.
There is a fair amount of boat on boat racing at times for various reasons including in the starts and especially so in the 3 boat Finale if you make it into that. QD is really good, it's a tough competitiion in SGP.I do not really follow sailgp, is there some match racing at some point ?
I've not heard about AC38 BUT I do have read that Accor has committed funding the French AC Challenge & the French SailGP through the end of 2024.So far, it appeared that the sponsorship of Accor is also already signed for AC38. If it's really true, it's a tremendous add for K-challenge.

"tough competition" I hope so, yet no match racing. There is a fair amount of boat on boat racing at times for various reasons including in the starts and especially so in the 3 boat Finale if you make it into that. QD is really good, it's a tough competitiion in SGP.
So I guess you didn't follow the last cup either? Certainly nothing resembling a match racing start and maybe some loose covering after that.I do not really follow sailgp, is there some match racing at some point ?
You guessed extremely badly. So I guess you didn't follow the last cup either?
You should be excited, enjoy the ride.I remenber Cammas in AC35. Prior to the AC he worked hard on the match racing specificities and then he won matchracing french championship. Then still train hard with Bertrand Pace to prepare himself to helm at the AC.
At the end of the campaign, he was still continuously schooled by the spare/training helmsman, Adam Minoprio.
Could be a lease deal on the cards, maybe?I wonder if ETNZ would let them buy Te Rehutai, they're probably not as much as a threat as Alinghi in their mind and letting them mod it to V2 rules and go sailing would be a "cheap" way to get a competitive boat for the this cycle, build momentum for the next?
Another 'super yacht' from the fabulously talented designer, Philippe Starck by the look.
