Just booked tickets to go with my 2012 ride. Who's in? Who's gonna win?

Based on the current class breaks and the long range forecast here are my predictions:

IRC: SPOOKIE, Privateer, Tonnere

PHRFA: Different Drummer, Dragonfly, First Light

PHRFB: Mirage (PHRF overall), Holy Toledo, Loki

PHRFC: Sunquest, Grand Cru, Chasing Rainbows

Multihull: Flight Simulator, Double Trouble...

Really just praying that it isn't a light air running shitfest like 2012 was.

Will be there again. If the weather is like it was 3 years ago in 2011 when it was a sleigh ride then one of the Hobies will win as long as they keep the boats together...However that is a big if. If the weather is the way it was in 2012 when it took people almost 2 whole days to go 160 miles....who knows!?!

Have you shared this lack of confidence with the rest of the crew?

Praying for a pounding big breeze uphill ride all the way around the bend, and shifting to the N when DFP gets to the KW Sea Buoy, perhaps? That, or DD hooking a lobster pot for a good while is about the only way the Swan wins that match race. 2010 was about as good as the conditions could be for DFP, and DD still beat them down.

God damn. That just brings back some bad memories. Heartbreak Alley earned its title that night.

Any forecast involving decent breeze, no sail changes, and a waterline race would suit me just fine.

Surprised Carinthia isn't back for another try at it. Maybe they're experiencing a little reef-o-phobia

Freaking hobie 33s are the greatest boat for this race. Wishing we could have put Hot Stuff together in time for this one Mustang__1. By next year you'll have her totally sorted and we can go blasting!

Is that Alex's old Hot Stuff? The South Florida boat?

It was always fast and trashed. Great competition.
