Saying that Saudis are generally lazy is not racist, it's a simple fact.
So concerned about this were the government that they undertook a study on the productivity of their civil servants. The study concluded the average Saudi civil servant works 30 minutes per day.

Did you know that Wellington FL (one of the safer cities in the Flood State) has the enviable property crime rate of just 7.76 crimes per 1000 residents?
It's barely 8 times more than the property crime rate in Wellington NZ. Let's not even get into the delta on violent crimes.
Count yourself lucky to live in one of the safest cities on earth. If you think it ain't, leave the safety of NZ and go check out anywhere else.

Bringing this back to AC, the whole Black Heart campaign was pretty damn aggressive and ugly back in the day, threats of violence included. Roger B, who used to post here under a handle I don't recall at the moment, used to post here a lot until someone outed him. Wonder what happened to that guy, he was living on an island near Vancouver the last I know. edit: was it 'Hastings'? edit2: I actually met the guy once, in SF during the SF Cup. Rennie may have too.

NZ is one of the lower violent crime countries without doubt (though different criteria of what a violent crime is make absolute comparisons dodgy), but choosing to compare with the USA where mass shootings is fast becoming the national sport doesn't really help your case that much
Oh good, glad he (like I did too) responded this year, he must be okay.
He was teaching at UBC (Vancouver) back then but am guessing he has retired in the meantime. What a character!

The SF Cup was of course devastating for hard-core NZers to watch, it may have led to him losing interest too.
