Clue it's generally much like other ailments - so don't consider contracting it a death sentence.. stay positive and up beat even if you get the bug :)
Clew said she's high risk. Quite possible she has some other underlying health issues. Either way, going from her posts here, I'm feeling very worried for Mrs Clew.

Same here, and I hope, @NeedAClew can stay away from others, gets her food and stuff in a safe way (lets others do the work) and will stay safe until this nightmare is over.

Whoa, Clew! This is a serious pandemic, but it's not Armageddon, or at least I hope not.

I'm medium risk, but there's no way I'm goin down to this poxy virus and neither are you, hopefully.

Kia Kaha.

Take care m'lady, we are still a couple of weeks behind you, and I have a risky child in my home. I hope people here take this a little less selfishly than some on the planet.

As Sailbydate said, Kia Kaha.

im guessing the yanks think she included hawai in her Polynesian clause

whereas nobody here ever really considers hawai in Polynesian affairs ..it is regarded as the usa
Actually, I'm talking about you and prissy  with the silly cinda bit.we are well served again with her. Imagine the smiling Assassin's talking points about the downside the bank will suffer and trying to mitigate their risk.

Does anybody know why Rome Kirby is the skipper of the American boat?  Other than crewing for others in the Volvo and America's Cup, Has he had past success racing as a skipper.  I ask, because, Taylor Canfield (either the wing trimmer or flight controller) has had plenty of success, so I'm wondering why he isn't driving...

I don't follow SGP all that closely so others will be in a better position to advise with more certainty but I understand initially Rome Kirby and Taylor Canfield (Flight Controller and Tactician) were co-captains, and Rome Kirby was skipper and CEO of the US SGP team.  Taylor also has a foot in the Stars and Stripes AC camp and didn't join the team until 2 weeks prior to the first race so that may have precluded him from the role Rome Kirby took on - and ultimately it's Rome Kirby that invited him onto the Sail GP USA team.  Through the first season of SGP both spent time driving and as flight controller/tactician.  I didn't take note of the way the team setup in Sydney recently but according to the SailGP USA website it's the same again this season...

Probably because he was one of the few Americans on the Oracle Team USA boat in Bermuda. Larry saw him as an option to have an American leading an American effort in SailGP.

One would assume the more this season is cancelled, the harder it becomes for teams like Australia to find sponsors, especiall given their poor showing against Ben in the first regatta.

An absolutely dire situation for any event attempting to attract sponsors. I'd expect Larry/Russ to understand this and make allowances if they want this thing to be on going. Their season is looking fucked, with SF cancelled, NY likely to be as well. They're saying Cowes might go ahead, but that has to be in doubt. They're not the only sport in trouble though. Rugby, Cricket etc are all going to struggle this year.

With ACWS Portsmouth cancelled for early June and NYC being a hotbed of Covid19, when will they say something about SGP NYC?

Larry's Lanai hotels are shutting and to his credit he did move quickly to cancel Indian Wells.
