Get your beast out and do the miles. If quickest claim the record. No-one is interested in who did it fastest on a full moon, while the stars aligned. Just as no-one really cares whio the fastest 4ksb is, apart from other 4ksb's in the race.

Yes well said, you guys are missing the point of my sarcasm. I think these boats are cool. 652 miles in a day is great. The record is great. They should have a starting window. The fastest one across is the best.

I am just offended they want to call it a “Transpac” record. Earlier in the week people were talking about “official” transpac records and not official and Geronimo’s record.bb blab la bla

There are 2 records:

Fastest boat to Hhawaii—which will be Lending Club in a few hours

Transpac record- best time to Diamondhead by monohull sailboat starting and racing in the TRANSPAC yacht race.

The unofficial time of a monohull boat sailing a course to Hawaii around the same time as the transpac is crap.
