That's no joke - I once watched a crow unwrap a sandwich - not poke and tear at it, it actually unwrapped the folds of wrapping paper.

I've also seen them use tools - the right sized stick to get food out of a container they couldn't reach the bottom of.

If they didn't make such an ugly noise they'd be my favourite birds.
