The fact that Starlink just made that sort of use on a boat specifically prohibited, and say they will geofence to ensure it does not happen might be part of their reticence to comment. They DO have a marine system and plan, $$$$.

Let’s get this thread back on topic, I remember those make or break motors, in Oz they were called putt putts. The main thing I remember about them as a kid was to stop them you had to press a copper strip down onto the top of the spark plug which nine times out of ten would give you a boot (ie. electric shock for the seppo’s).
There must be some way one of the electrical gurus on cruising anarchy could work out a way to harness this excess electrical power to stun and scare away these pesky cetaceans, no?
