Are you looking at the right bit? The leeward foil? The one that is fully loaded? Under tonnes of pressure? If that is the play in the hydraulics the engineers need sacking. 
I noticed the leeward foil “bouncing” on AM. Shot was from the bow camera of the starboard foil

Put it down to my eyes playing tricks but to watch more closely in the future

That was why I suggested a while back that AM might have mounted theirs on some kind of suspension.

Could be the arm flexing though.

Sounds like on LR, the helm controls the traveler as well as the helm. That is very interesting to me! That's kind like sailing a singlehanded dinghy!
This is correct. Check out the stern cam feeds, you get a good idea of how they're doing things. LR have a simple but effective setup. Probably why their manoeuvers are solid.

Apologies if it was pointed out before but from the onboard radio it seems that the leeward helmsman takes over briefly when passing a top mark. To avoid the risk PB took of hitting the mark, I guess. Correct?

He was referring to the raised arm in the particular video he referenced. If it's the lowered arm, it would be deliberate manipulation - listen carefully and you will hear the hydraulic pump hard at work.

It was good to see Jimmy front a couple of pressers. I love what he brings to these little talk fests. An interesting comment he made is that he is only seeing 50% of the race. From the stern cam audio he does sound a bit more subdued than normal. Himself and Bruni seem to be the only ones talking - in English as well. 

Is 50% Jimmy going to be enough for the Handbags?

Max on three ACWS days :

- Three very useful and interesting days. They lined up against the other 3 competitors in different wind conditions, so they could see what has to be improved, what is working fine and confirm the goodness of design choices. 

- Next days they'll have a lot of technical debriefing in order to chose mods for the Prada Cup. 

- They're not happy, because they lost the final race against ETNZ for the lack of breeze, and they could win the ACWS. Anyway performances improved a lot from Day 1, and that's the most important thing. The team stayed focused and ready to react. 

- Prada Cup will be long and hard, every team will improve and there'll be a lot of mods on every Challenger boat

- Prada Cup winner will be a tough contender for ETNZ

- Every sailing hour is gold so now boat's in the shed, they have to do some mods, and then they'll be back in the water 23 December  

- He wants to say thank you to all the team that worked 24/7 in these months (edit: this last point is from another interview he made 4 seconds after on another channel)

Vasco Vascotto (off board tactician, sail design manager)  about DAY 2 (2 races vs AM, 1 win, 1 loss)

- Really happy about boat performance, they have some big modification coming up in the near future, so green light for him about this day

- The penalties were due to some difficulties in reading the course info. It's something that can be easily fixed, no rocket science. 

- Really happy that the sailing plan made in the morning proved just fine. Right side had more current, and they went there when needed, and left side had more pressure at the beginning, so they went tin that direction at the start. Boat performance was really good.

Speaking about mods, LR already  changed the rudder for the ACWS. But what are these red lines painted on the hull? Max in an interview said that they were going to do unusual things with B2, and that it was something that everyone will see. And talked also about "aero packages". So, what are these red lines, some "cut here" indications ? 

This is an old pic by @mikenz2 if I remember correctly, just a few weeks after the spashing, right before a training session. It's easier to spot them while in the air, but this lines can be seen also in the other 2 @weta27 pics while sailing.

Any clue ?

Thanks again for the translations! I wonder if they will shroud the crew like ETNZ.

Regarding the lines they seem maybe centered on the part of the hull with deepest draft. They also seem visible only from off the boat, so maybe a reference for the coaches to look at pitch and ride height?

Francesco "Checco" Bruni  (one of the 2 LR helmsman) about the three ACWS sailing days : 

- There are a lot of things to be improved, mostly upwind speed in the upper wind range. They're happy about boat performance in the mid-low wind range. 

- There's a lot to be improved both in speed and moneuvers also in the medium/low wind range. They have to do an accurate analysis about these racing days, so that next time they go out they can test a lot of things. 

- ETNZ has a speed edge in the upper wind range, mostly upwind but also downwind, but LR can perform a lot better also in those conditions, they just need to do a few adjustments. 

- He thinks LR and AM speed is very even in the medium wind range, maybe LR is a little better in the low-mid and AM is a little better in the upper-mid, but the performances are really similar.

- He really likes AC75 concept, far better than the cats. 

(Edit: I think the double helm configuration is really working, I have to disagree with Luca)
