Too bad most of you won’t understand, excellent commentary of critical moments in the first race, light-hearted banter on Jimmy’s Italian (or lack thereof)

But what you can gauge is the personality: you can be a world-class match racer and retain a sunny disposition, none of BA’s glowering assassin look

Sembra molto simpatico.

Ora aspettiamo che Giacomo Sputacollina parli.

Max Sirena in the press conference seems to be less confident than when he appeared in other recent interviews.

Both teams have been spying each other, who knows, they (LR) may have discovered UK is faster?

I hope not, if nothing else, to watch spectacular races....
I think that shows he has more confidence.  It was comical about how he was so confident about his boat and then you would see them quickly adopt some feature from another boat (the deep blade on the keel, the wind shields around the crew, etc..).  He is now being humble and they are not making such drastic changes.  They had just proven they have improved by passing AM in speed.

No, sorry Stingray,  it was referring to the infinite list of previous messages. And to answer you I think yes, they would help the Ineos cause. But it's only my opinion. I'm not so sure they would help us, given the recent developments
Strider, LR has challenged the mighty NZ team that can do no wrong in the eyes of many kiwi fans.  Of course they are going to consider you the bad guy.  Just ignore them...

Just imagine the reaction you will get when LR takes the cup to Italy and NZ will be left supporting a team from the Dubai Marina Yacht Club full of NZ expats.  A YC that can't even accommodate sailboats without taking down the mast to get under the bridges...

I really really hope ETNZ (assuming a win) don't shop the venue.  That was disastrous for Oracle in 2017 in terms of fans, and even though a huge majority of NZ fans can be obnoxious chest thumpers, it's such a cool team and I don't think any of the B backed or corporate teams will ever be quite as exciting in the modern era.  Hard to imagine the energy staying the same if it's Emirates Team New Zealand Presented by Tai Po Megamall C Hong Kong.

Haha you're like Trump screaming "The election was stolen" even though its clearly a lie, he keeps screaming it from the rafters because he knows the idiots will believe him.

Just because you keep saying it, doesn't mean its true.

Dalts hasn't put a foot wrong since the cycle started. Is he an asshole? Maybe, but who cares? This event has been spectacular so far. The boats are now the fastest on the planet, and the event has seen Kiwi's turn out in droves to watch the racing.

So you can keep screaming BS, but thats what it is, and thats what those who matter know it is...Bullshit.

Just poking a little fun at you kiwi fanboys.

You know it is true that ETNZ is shopping the event.  You are the Trumper that keeps denying the truth.  We all hope that if NZ wins, that the will keep it in NZ, but that doesn’t change the fact they are shopping it.

Just poking a little fun because your team got sent packing with a record of more zero's than any AC campaign cost? haha

Who cares if they're shopping the event? They shopped it around pre this cycle as well, they had a back up plan for Italy, if Auckland for some reason, couldn't host, yet here we are watching the event in Auckland. If they're shopping it around, I say go for it. Obviously ACC isn't willing to shell out money in the Covid era, so go get that leverage from where ever you can I say.

The only thing you hope, is the same thing you've hoped for from the start. That NZ loses, Dalton is sacked, Foiling monohulls go away and campaign costs are capped.

Just because they're shopping it, doesn't mean it won't be in Auckland right? So what's the issue?

There is no issue. So no matter how long and often you shout "They're shopping it around" it doesn't matter, so move on.

Who knows why Pietro Sibello is changing position on LR after the manoeuvres? Instinctively I would say that it makes more sense to swap positions before, as Ineos' trimmer does, so he can see and trim the main sail  while manoeuvring...
