Can it be that one guy from Italy and one from Brazil have to defend a New Zealander from his own countrymen? :D
I completely respect and admire Dalton for what he has achieved over the years, with this team, and now with this boat and this event.

My brother rides motorbikes with both him and Gashby - he says they are both good bastards, so that's good enough for me.

Tom Schnackenburg saved Team New Zealand. Without him it would have been over. And while that 2003 defence was a disaster, much of that was driven by a hopelessly inadequate budget. They just didn't have the cash to spend against Bertarelli's millions & millions, and what cash they did have came too late. I think I remember that in the end they only had one mast that worked. All the others were repaired or otherwise compromised, and this was in a campaign where the rig loads were going up & up....

Since we're talking about T.Schnackenberg in this Luna Rossa thread...
This might even be more on-topic: Lorenzo Bertelli just stuffed his Ford into the snow banks at the Arctic Rallye.

Renn you are not compliant with the rules. You must  not spell the names correctly. :)
Sorry, I'll do better:

The more you watch the AC75 the more impressive they become and the more you appreciate the skills in manoeuvring, flying, not flying and flying too high.

It is going to be a great Match, even if unevenly matched.

(JS) suffers a bit of foot in mouth syndrome like Dalts.

However he gets away with it more cos he always says it with a cheeky gingernut ozzie grin.

Smiling when you trash talk is surprisingly effective at reducing people's reaction to it.
'its not tork if yoo can wauk it'

Looks like Jimmy's hemorrhoids are playing up again.
Hmm a quick look at the effects of excessive consumption of Red Bull did not raise concerns regarding elevated incidence of haemorrhoids they however are considered to be genetically transferred.

Fark 10 days with no racing going to be a long road...

...Greg Norman at Augusta was similarly tough to watch.
Frenchie Jean van de Velde's choke at the 1999 Open Championship at Carnoustie was sadder...leading by 3 strokes standing on the 72nd hole and finishing up with a triple-bogey 7 to go into a 3-way play-off (which he lost). image.png
