So a modded ac 45 with wheels and auto ride height wasn’t a prototype? The boat that Prada sent to grant with Max a box of goodies and technicians to imbed in the team prior to your lot building the boat for Bermuda? that wasn’t a prototype?

No, it wasn't. It was a modified AC45 platform.

Not a prototype.
A prototype is a functional, not final version of a product or service that businesses can use for testing, to solicit feedback, and to introduce to investors before officially launching to a wider market.

The AC40 is a prototype.
Te Aihe was a prototype, The very first AC45 was a prototype.
The LR test boat was a modified version of an existing boat. A Frankenboat yes, but not a prototype.
I can't take an existing car, put a body kit on it and call it a "prototype".
