That's from the article. Mozzy could get the full resolution, typically he doesn't post them here though for copyright reasons I think, but maybe in a future video he can look at this.

This row of LEDs looks interesting. That seems like a pretty large 'display' for whoever is in the cockpit. And at a funny position.

Thanks @buckdouger . Anyone have any theories? They could I suppose be holes that open at high speed to reduce pressure difference and thus cavitation. I would have expected more of them if so, but still could be testing it. Any other ideas?

Good one

I love the updates, but all the press covering the teams are really getting to be over the top in superlatives!

Soon, all of the boats will discard the foils since they will all be walking on water…

Pressure taps is possible but they look too big and in the wrong place. Could simply be fastener locations covered by a plug.

Agree, most of the recon stuff is written to be highly promotional and may well be edited/rewritten back at ACE. The part we can best go by is the interviews, video and photos. While the private recon teams of the past surely gathered a LOT more than we now see, we at least get something :)

A recent ETNZ recon video showed that they only needed both foils down for 3-4 seconds, Luna Rossa are sailing their boat very confidently it seems but that aspect does not seem to be as much of a priority at this time

In my worthless opinion, all the teams would benefit from younger, more reactive helms but none of them seem able to prise the wheel from the rock-stars. Especially BA. Even Burling is the wrong side of 30.
Good point. Bruni almost 50, BA almost 46, Goodison 45, JS 43, TS 38, NO 36, PB 32 ... am I missing anyone? None of them spring chickens yet Burling still the youngest.

Those older guys will seriously start to struggle. I'm almost 50 and my reaction times are waaaay slower than my late 20's when I think (from a sailing perspective) I was at my sharpest and strongest. Although certainly not my wisest!
