Our new tribal warrior Mahguah seems hell bent on making Erne$to's life miserable. It's hard to know what he's really up to, but, based on a comment he had in a post about The Hague, I spent some time today looking into some of the possibilities. Just to be clear – he made the point in a post a day or so ago of calling me a "brother", which I took to mean a term of honor – because I only have one sibling, a sister. Just like I have no idea of the real identity of the vast majority of the posters here, I have no idea who Mahguah is either. But if nothing else, he's added an interesting element recently.
Let's assume for a moment that Mahguah is a full blooded native American, or, that he's at least a lawyer well versed in international law and various treaties and working for a native American nation. When you start digging around in various sites related to The Hague, you can find things related to trusts, and their application internationally. Mahguah has talked about treaties, so maybe there is some treaty between a native American nation and the US and then from the US to some aspect of international law, which somehow gives him standing in The Hague. I can start to see how he could tie one of the Hague Trust laws, then add in a dash of Hague Securities Convention, and suddenly Erne$to might have a bigger problem than that that "big scary man" Larry Ellison.
It sounds far fetched, but it could be possible that Mahguah is on to something, and is working for the greater good of the Cup. So let's hear from the likes of Simon and Marian and Albatros and the rest of the Huston Haters as to why Mahguah using The Hague could never have an impact on Erne$to and his stranglehold on the Cup.
