Mains AC trip 240V used as trip DC 24V

Hello Anarchy experts.
Previous help appreciated.
There is a modification to this boats wiring. Formerly conventional SP distribution toggle switches and pop out fuses for individual gear.
Now a homemade +ve busbar takes 24V to inlet of distribution switches and supplied 24V thru a 240V AC mains trip. This means the pop out fuses are bypassed. This seems to work and I have been told by Hagler that such trips are OK for DC up to 120V
Any comments whether to add individual MCBs or fuses, or whether the new arrangement is acceptable. please?
Thanks Scavaig

Most people know this Slug. I'm telling you what is there and it works.
I'm trying to decide, how to replace etc.
Thanks

Over there
There certainly are ac/dc breakers, they've been around for years, common on boat panels.
Read the lable, see what it says

Unless Hager has published this information I probably would not rely on it. For example, does the breaker actually have a DC rating on it? Or if not, is there a spec sheet put out by Hager that lists the DC voltage? Many AC breakers will not operate properly on DC (as I am sure you know). Glancing at Hager's website I didn't find any information about DC use, but they have many families of breakers and I did not attempt an exhaustive search.

You're using terms like "mains trip" and "pop out fuses" that many of us have never encountered before. Unfortunately, when you get into technical areas, English isn't really standardized around the globe.
