just to the left of this picture, on the hill,  there is a fabulous hotel, Dormy House the name is, and if you get a seaside room you have the sound of the sea rolling over the little cobblestones on the beach, now that could be considered to be a flaw in this painting, you don't see no cobblestones, mais c'est linterpretation de l'artiste, quoi ?

the thing is, when you sit there, like I've done a couple of times, it does look like that after a while, no silly mushrooms or weeds involved, it's just impressions, view, smell, sound, wind, temp and yada yada, it really works ! but then of course you need to be an "olde romantic curmudgeon", hah !

now here we have a real conundrum, partially induced by the fact that it's late nite overhere and some alcohol is at play too, but what does one mean with "fucking impressionist" ? it so sounds demeaning.

 -are impressionists not supposed or allowed to fuck ? anything wrong with one them hoisting the odd damsel onto his luuuurve pencil ? c'mon guys, impressionist might be the lowest of all but they too deserve to odd fuck

-of course you had cubists like Picasso but then it's no secret that he had one damsel after another because this cubic entry was not that happy and satisfying at all, quite hurting, there is this big painting in the Prado of which many people think it is about a war fact but insiders know it's an expression of one of his damsels when his cubic entry was performed

-and then you had he "fauvists" ... jolly good show, dog on dog or dog eat dog and all that, but they were too much hell bent on back alleys and other funni stuff  (no elks were involved, at least they got that going for them ), really, you could not for the world want another fauvist dog to get at you when you were a damsel of course

-now later on we had stuff like Jeff Koons and a load of hilarious shock-jockeys, but then they just fucked a porn queen for a second to get on the news and the media, Paris Hilton is still miffed it was before her time, she'd have a ball (and another video)

-lest we would forget about abstract artists, expressionist, modernists, post modernists, late nite post-post-nihilists et al ... aren't they all supposed to have a good fuck once in a while or should we move this thread to PA (some are really hellbent on having a massive move) as it's not about the holy and ever so righteous cause of maritime artistry ?

I wish, although the dog, if it is what I think, a black labrador, is one of the most genteel dogs around, no devil at all, rather an angel

nope. my neighbours left and right are of the moroccan islamic persuasion, but both (and their missus, don't ask me for stories about those ! ) and so far black dogs have not come up into any talk, but one of them has just come up with a white/grey husky, so maybe they are slowly shifting colors, will ask him
