Maybe Storming The Capitol Wasn't Such A Good Idea

Is there not a law in the US about undermining the discipline of the military? It seems like recruiting people on active duty into an armed secret society, would be inimical to good discipline.

I bet there is a federal law against it; but it for damn sure is in the US Military's legal code (the UCMJ). This was explained carefully to us in boot camp, ~40 years ago in my case so I don't remember the number but some dim foggy memory is telling me it falls under insubordination.

It's one of the ones they can take you out and shoot you for.

I strongly doubt it will be prosecuted though, which IMHO is a shame.

Crazy. Anyone else noticed that this fool never gets called out for this stupid shit? I would really like for at least one journalist to demand proof from him.

Beyond crazy.

That statement is pure incitement.

How long will DOJ and National Security agencies allow this shit to escalate? Are they going to sit on their arses again and let another 1/6 happen?

A handful of super PACS intend to blunt any assault with facts. Facts First, The Center for American Progress, Media Matters, and probably more that will pop up in time. The point is to slap down falsehoods and anything that will interfere with the next presidential election, which means Trump will hear a lot he won't be able to counter. Anything the Republicans put on the table will be fair game for a counter-assault.

I still hope the kids will step in. Who else has standing to wrap him in a strait jacket?
Philbin and the other guy who testified before the GJ yesterday, this time with the legal protection that they had asked for from the courts and that removed the claims of executive privilege, almost certainly wrapped him in not just a strait jacket but in chains too.

No children needed, they can't help even if they did want to.
