Melges 24 Worlds 2018

In my neck of the woods the Melges 24 Worlds are coming.  

Melges 24 2018 website is up and taking registrations. 

Victoria, Canada is a beautiful city and the wind in June is usually 15-20 knots. The local fleet is signing up and we hope you can join us.

Ya the big events are always seem a tank of gas too far.  Talk to your other local melges, maybe a team of owners from you region wants to pony up and come.

Counting down to the first ever Melges 24 Worlds sailed in Canada. Royal Victoria Yacht Club welcomes the world to this premiere sailing event.

5 weeks to go.  40 boats paid up and attending. Quantum has offered up a new kite for a draw if 45 boats sign up.  

Melges 24 Worlds 2018

The local Fleet had a regatta this past weekend, on Sat wind was 20-25 sunny skies and snow capped mountains in the back ground. Kevin Welch's Mikey teams took the top spots for the weekend, followed by team Sunnyvale. We had a hard fought 4th place.  Our top speed was tickling 17knots. 

So get off the couch and join us.
