I never remember my dreams, which is really unfortunate. I'd like to know what happened to make me wake up covered in blood with a scimitar under my pillow.I occasionally have dreams like that.

Used them many times successfully. 50% of the time the heat of drilling a small hole in the bolt for the easy out loosened it and it came right out. Hardest part is drilling the hole.I have tried EZ Out multiple times.. Never successful. Worst case scenario is it breaks off and jams in the hole, best case is that it breaks off and it's removable with some effort. Shit idea.
Welding on a nut is the way to go. I saw a YouTube on how to make a weld down the hole using some copper pipe to shield the exposed threads and prevent welding everything solid. I have not tried it, but it looked worth a go (first, on something where there are no other options!).
Maybe the right, right approach is to recognize that you're at the torque limit of the bolt before you break it, drill out the center of the bolt while the head is still in place and then fill the hole you just made with weld. You can get a lot of heat right were it's needed. Never tried it, but I may test it next time I get the opportunity.
Aren't you Canadian?I never remember my dreams, which is really unfortunate. I'd like to know what happened to make me wake up covered in blood with a scimitar under my pillow.
Is it one of those fancy engraved scimitars? If so, you might be able to find the initials of the owners.I never remember my dreams, which is really unfortunate. I'd like to know what happened to make me wake up covered in blood with a scimitar under my pillow.I occasionally have dreams like that.
Yeah - but M4 is for euro eco pussies jerking themselves off to "how to fix my own eyeglasses on YouTube". I'm talking about a rusted solid 5/16 waterpump bolt, or bent cylinder head stud, or the hub bolts on the boat trailer that's been dipped in salt water every couple of weeks for 25 years, never hosed off and now needs a new tire.... the list goes on......I watch you "welding on a nut" on an M4 grub-screw with a rounded female hex...
