And create an interior that is even remotely livable. The interior looks like a WW2 submarine.Unlike Dugg's BSO, that AL boat could be rehabilitated. Remove 14 of the 20 (!) dorades, 3 anchor platforms and reduce, remove or replace the pilothouse with canvas. Simplify the electronics, remove the hydraulics. Does it need 3 gimballed seats and a gimballed table? 7 bilge pumps? Water and air jets under the keel? Bow and stern daggerboard slots? 2 stern ladders? Etc.
My point is it was designed by professionals and has potential. It just needs to go on a diet to make it viable.
I would’ve said more like “Space 1999.” Just gotta get yourself a pastel jumpsuit and slippers and go with the flow! And create an interior that is even remotely livable. The interior looks like a WW2 submarine.
Looks like a Ron Holland IOR design.![]()
Asking 100k €. Seems reasonable.

One of the more amusing Covid regret sales I’ve seen pop up. I particularly enjoy offering the slip for $240k on top of the already quadruple-overvalued vessel.
For $60k there should be zero ”projects” on an Ingrid - I would expect Bristol condition.
Don't offer $40k unless you are prepared to own it, would be my advice to anyone looking at this. Sounds to me like they really want to get out of it.I don’t ever really look at the used boat market, but my impression is that a 38’ glass Ingrid with Hasse sails (ok, they’re not all new but they’re very well-made sails), 2018 Beta diesel, etc. isn’t quadruple over priced at $55K. Ok, wooden spars would be a deal breaker for me (listing says Sitka spruce spars) - it would be a good liveaboard and definitely require some money to get it ready for longer cruising (standing rigging is 1990). Offer $40? And probably get laughed away…
I’m curious to know what a boat like this actually would sell for in today’s market. It’s so hard to assign value…
I take back what I said about the keel, it's the least strange part of that boat. There's a walkthrough on YouTube and I find it more than a little horrifying.
I swear the anchor locker hatch was molded using a trashcan lid. Are the winches coated in flex seal? I'm so confused by this thing.
Are you not supposed to put all the weight in the ends of the boat? I wonder if the builder wanted to make it a true IO sterndrive but was disappointed he had to make due with a saildrive. The engine placement was the most surprising plottwist i've seen in years.
So it should be much longer lived than a "Yacht" cylinder.

I can tolerate a spartan interior but that boat's slow roll period is frightening. And create an interior that is even remotely livable. The interior looks like a WW2 submarine.
