So I was looking through the Moore website pics of the delta ditch run from last year. The overall impression I got, was that the Moores all sail together as a large gang, picking on other hapless racers as they go along and leaving a trail of destruction. One Etchells sunk, one FT10 grounded, I can only guess what happened to that poor tug boat operator. This is a class that should have warning label attached stating BEWARE!

It is true that the class and all inductees are SOB's and the inside of the boats are loaded with pistachios that are hurled at hapless PHRFers with insults. The boat itself is best sailed with a motor in the water running and make the mac26 look like a TP52. Don't ever buy one. have you noticed that they all look alike. Thats right they are all different an the insiders keep the best ones for themslves and have to keep finding suckerd for the rest of them. That is what changes them all into jerks. Onl;y when one of the illuminaties dies of liver damage does a good boat comne available the the next in line.

I raced against them several years back in a Hotfoot 20 in the Ditch Race and found them to be very gentlemanly. In fact when we capsized and as they sailed by they asked "MIND IF WE PLAY THROUGH?" which we said was fine. After we righted the boat, by getting on the KEEL, we smoked by them again in full on planing conditions. When we capsized the second time, they all were carefull not to run us over and asked again "MIND IF WE PLAY THROUGH?". Although they travel in packs, they are very mindful.

He's just jealous (good to see you've got the 6's coming to WIRW), #39 is a great boat, pictures online at nw.moore2.org. and I hate the fact that all those darn boats are in the way at the ditch run, why don't they start the moores earlier?????????????????
Really pisses me off sailing through all those boats and then having them jibe to cover you, THE MOORE'S ARE NOT RACING PHRF JUST GET OUT OF THE WAY AND LET EM PLAY THROUGH FOR CHRISTS SAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah I've got a good image in my head of that thing sinking, funny how they kept trying to sail it underwater. not a very stealth submarine...
They were extremely polite as they sailed by the sinking E-Scow that was not doing the race!!!
mine doesn't have those cushions though.
