Impressed that pushpit (? - I forget which one's which) took the strain of him climbing back on. He must weigh 120 or so when he's wet...?

The driver looks like he was deeply concerned judging by his extreme reaction.

 
I did that same move a few years ago while racing from Santa Cruz to Monterey. And I've seen it done a ton of times, glad for that small scupper step on the transom!

Never thought those scupper steps could be used other than as a "head". A Santa Cruz, "Fast is Fun" innovation! (past SC27 owner)

indeed we did. that wm was just to gauge what the fleet and conditions were doing from an outsiders stand point... sort of like watching from the men's grill
