I just don't have the courage to Google the term "fleshlight."hey now, tools have uses.....so um...dont go insulting tools. But Larry Ellison had a good day...again.
And STFU Gator, you tool.
unless of course, a fleshlight is a tool, then I see what you meant
I don't know what any of this means but it sounds like if I show this post to the guy in IT I'll be able to justify the next 15 minutes that we're then going to spend talking about hockey and famous sidearm pitchers.mikewof: If your company is using Java, it and you are being victimized. Depending on scale, convert to either an IBM i/OS or z/OS. Use DB/2 with a legacy language. Hackers don't know what to do with those platforms.
Done right, you get no more security scares,TCO is lower, and no more Java weirdness.
There are a lot of folks in IT, only one who talks hockey. It's a big government field office. I'll show him the Greek above as well. The guy in IT?! Only one? Enjoy the conversation, but I thought the NHL were still screwing around.
If your outfit is really small, then either Linux with C++ and MySQL on a 686/Alpha server, or i/OS with software packages on Power6 (DB/2 is included) may be a better fit.
Since you mentioned Homeland inSecurity, I reckoned you were in a much bigger organization.
