they could improve that affect by putting protected small openings in the seawall so all the water didn't have to flow in and out of the entrance

Doesnt seem like there should be lots of flow as it not that big an area.

It looks like a big ebb with the whirlpools but it could be all that mass transport from the swell hitting the north side of the south jetty. Any local opinion?
