You should put the rest of the sentence Doug ... I said that when the wind increase and we reached 15 knots, I have the feeling to come back on him ... so wait and see

I'm not involved in this project, but I honnestly think it is an interesting development, this is why I'm talking about it.

Now, IMO, Doug is not helping at all ... he just makes people nervous and polluting topics with always the same pictures/formula/references ... not sure this is the best way to convince poeple to go for foil, neither to celebrate the success of the one who are really making the thing moving forward

Maybe we all have it totally wrong.

Maybe DL has come up with some old fashioned tub build with scrap meterials from some derelict Cocoa LOCO powerboat builder (i.e lots of chop strand for a heavyweight build) that he is hoping to sell thousands of. Now in a little glimmer of brilliance he is seeing that some of the modern stuff (fast planing offshore boats, sportboats, foiling moth's and so on) is gaining momentum and would render his DL FatTUBTM idea DOA. In order to try to stem the tide he is fanatically trying to make everything new looking like harebrained ideas that nobody in their right mind would spend money on - especially since he thinks he can make it look like HE the Lord Bonesmoke is heavily involved in all of them.

Now if we were all gullible his plan might work and we will all be sailing his FatTUBTM's in a few years........................really
