'Most people are just hearing about the forced kiss and then the picture at the end,' Tweeden said, 'but it was – you know, it was the humiliation through the two weeks of the tour that people don't hear about.

If that's true, that's very bad and Franken should resign.  Oh, I already said that.

Franken is a democRAT.  Trump and Moore are American.  Why should they resign?  As long as it was teenage girls and not teenage boys they were diddling, who cares?

If Gretchen Carlson keeps this up, Foxy is gonna give her a "D".  Wait.  Someone at Foxy already tried to give her the "D".

Don't see any reason for Trump to step down... I've already said Moore belongs in a cell with weiner.
But Trump admitted to grabbing women by the pussy because he is famous.  14 women said he did that.  Without consent.  He hasn't apologized.  Seems he should resign if Franken should too.

If the women withdrew their complaints... why would I judge him any different?
I am not aware of anyone who withdrew their suits; they may have decided not to file charges because he is too powerful to take on and he has a reputation as a bruiser, recall that he pulled health care from his seriously disabled nephew to win a lawsuit. Regardless, Summer Zervos has an active lawsuit and has no intention of giving up her pursuit under the law.

Trump thinks tweeting with a conjecture about where else he put his hands while she was sleeping is supportive...it's more than creepy.,,but no one seems to see why.

A little cock and a gift cart to Macy's and she will drop it.
She already got her little cock and she's only asking for $3,000 bucks so that no one will accuse her of taking a shot at money.

That's what I said.  $3k is is a gift card amount for Macy's.  You didn't think she was worth more did you?
I think she's worth a lot more if she wins that case.

If a Washington Compost reporter with a few lawyers get to her right before and election and she wants his opponent to win----sure.
I doubt it, Girls raped at13-years-old are usually to traumatized to react like that.

Everybody was anti-homo in the 70s....  Do you think, absent a continued pattern of behavior, that it's appropriate to judge someone now by something said then?   As it pertains to Franken - it looks like there's more coming to light that might suggest such a pattern, but, I'd appreciate you addressing the question in a broader context.

Yup - awesome wife, 4 daughters.  I have taught them to decide for themselves what appropriate boundaries are and to be strong enough to enforce those boundaries.  Neither would accept being treated as a decoration.   If they were this age 30/40 years ago?   I think that would be a different question, as attitudes have changed significantly since then.
They haven't changed that much in 30/40 years. I'm 51, and when I was 20 sexual harassment was something I was very cognizant of. I have a very, very distinct memory of a lovely lass that came to work for me on the dinner shift I supervised in college. Green eyes to die for, cute as hell and really nice. And she reported directly to me, her boss, who was responsible for her evaluations and job assignments on our work-study jobs, who could also discipline her or fire her. She hated working in food service though, so when she quit I asked her out. But not until she quit. (She shot me down...politely.)

Way way back in the dark ages of the late 80s, even then, in the deep recesses of my primitive cultural thinking, I was COMPLETELY aware that asking her out, even flirting with her heavily, would be WAY out of line when she worked for me. We knew the rules...the dining halls where we worked were very target-rich environments and students were constantly meeting and hooking up. Hell, I got to know my wife because she supervised Mon-Fri dinner and was the boss on Wed-Sun. I dated more than a few other supervisors and workers from other shifts. Two fellow supervisors ended up getting married before they graduated (and among the first of my peers divorced...). There was a lot of flirting and workplace antics.

But we knew, even then, that you didn't hit on your own staff. It just wasn't smart or wise and was totally inappropriate. Even for a stupid part-time cafeteria work-study job making $4.00 an hour ladling out turkey tetrazzini. If memory serves it was part of our Supervisor training.

This stuff is not new. The only thing that is really new is men getting called out on it, and women speaking out and getting supported. We had pigs back then, and we have pigs now. That hasn't changed in the least.

And I agree...in the 70's people were ignorant as fuck about homosexuality and gays. Most of us outgrew that.
