It was chippy before kickoff, and a few scrums occurred.

But, that bodyslam at the end was beyond the pale. Should be a hefty fine and a suspension (IMHO).
Probably will be. Trent's a big dude. No excuses, but who knows what was said about his momma.

Kyle coaches in a way that get his skill guys injured - but this game, it was that good front four of the Eagles D who did the damage. Tough way to go into a championship game, on the 8th offensive snap, to have to use the 4th qb. Can't win that way. Hope the diagnosis of "nerve damage" to Purdy's arm isn't permanent.

Call it the Andy Reid Bowl - he is the winningest Eagles coach during his 14 seasons with them and one game away from the winningest Chiefs coach. Only NFL coach to have 10 playoff wins each, with two different teams.
or
Call it the Kelce Brothers Bowl - both Pro Bowl selections, played on the same HS and college (Cincinnati) teams, and Travis was almost drafted by the Eagles. At least their Mom doesn't have to choose which game she'll attend.

Mahomes was well OB but still. Refs decided the outcome of the game. And they sure blew the call on the catch in the Eagles-Niners game
Blown calls are part of the game. And, Instant Replay has not made things necessarily better.

That catch was not the game. Besides, what about the punt that seems to have hit the wire? That certainly had an effect.

I choose not to blame refs for outcomes.

Once the QB went down, that was it. 4th stringer aint gonna win a Championship.

Pretty sure that would always be a penalty against a QB. I personally think QBs are just another runner in that situation, but the league doesn't.
Well thank goodness they didn't call the two flagrant holds that let Mahomes get out of the backfield so Ossai could bump him six inches out of bounds.

I prefer not to blame them either.

If you don't let the game get close, bad officiating can't hurt you.

Unfortunately we made mistales and let it get close. So the Chief's 5th down, flagrant holds and blocks in the back uncalled, and phantom penalties come back to cost you.

blown calls? how about blatant bad calls or non-calls? there should have been a roughing the passer call towards the end of the game against KC.. PI call against Cincy at the end was extremely bad.. it's pretty obvious which team they wanted in the final..

In both games defenses made stupid penalties and the one that gave it to KC was pathetic. I wouldn't want to be sitting next to him on the plane ride home.

KC needs to get a bunch of guys well in just 2 weeks.
