One guy's ticky tack is another guy's flagrant violation.
True dat!Maybe the best SB that I can remember.
There were a couple of other questionable calls, always are, always will be.Wonder when the public will catch onto the fact that the NFL is entertainment. While it's participants are certainly professional athletes, the product is entertainment.
Until the NFL has full time professional refs, who have stats and standards just like the players. Otherwise it's just entertainment folks.
I wanted KC to win, but that holding call on Philly to extend the drive was a game changer.

AgreedThere were a couple of other questionable calls, always are, always will be.
Problem here is the defender admitted it was a foul, he just hoped to get away with it.
The other thing we won’t ever know is the human emotion part of it. Seems to me the NFL puts up with a lot more lip than does the NBA, so you have to wonder at what point does some ref just think no mas, and flags the guy just to fuck with him, because he’s been jawing at him the whole game. Some of that just has to go on, they are human.Agreed
My issue is, and has always been, the calls that blatantly change the game. You can call a penalty on every single play. Either offensively or defensively.
If you want to set the tone, by calling certain things early, great. But to make a game altering call, that you haven't made all game.... (only defensive holding call made during the game)

You're right of course. I've seen it done. Shoulda been done on that play. The ball being uncatchable is not an issue on holding, but they should have huddled and picked up the hankyNot true, they can huddle, walk out and say "there was no foul on the play"
