A friend of mine has a great J/70 on offer, thought it might interest you guys as well:

J/70, POL-1138, ex. "APOTEX" / "NEUCA".
Ready to hit the road, on the trailer, in Poland (Europe, and the boat is in European specs)

2016 European boat, bought 12.21.2016, class trim confirmed by all the paperwork, as well as measured allover when competing in such events as:

- J/70 Worlds 2017, (3rd Silver Corinthian; 95/170 overall)
- Monaco Winter Series 2017/2018 (2nd Corinthian)
- J/70 German Cup 2018 (18/60 overall)
- Polish Championships 2019 (2nd)

Not sailed since 2020, kept in a dry, warm hangar, in the hands of the first owner. Not chartered. Trailered under a cover. (which got misplaced in the meantime - not included)

Before first season, vinyl-coated by the sponsors allround including the deck where possible. After removal of those vinyls now - all the gelcoats are pristine condition.

The boat is just as new.

Ready to race any national, European or world event.

Fitted and equipped with all the needed gear, including a Honda engine, Velocitek Prostart, North Sails all around, 2 gennakrs, 2 mains, 3 jibs, as far as I remember.
Dedicated street legal road trailer.

Firstly best of luck with the sale.

The asking price seems comparable to other good well prepared boats I have seen. I had half an eye out for a J70 early last year.

I think the obvious statement is that the boat is probably going to need to be near a top J70 sailing venue to sell for that sort of money. The boats I had considered were in UK or Switzerland (I have sailed on that boat and know the owner) for example so if purchased there was no delivery cost and cheap to see the boat (eg UK ones I could walk to from my home !!)

The boat is top-notch, fitted with an engine and a Prostart. Carefully maintained by the first and only owner. It's offered with a good North Sails inventory, as well as submersible, roadworthy trailer and is ready to hit the road as well as the water. The price reflects that

Why charter a beaten up boat, spend all the time and effort to tune it and then just leave it to others to mess up...

... when you can buy a good European boat from a private owner almost on site, which is on sale right now and have some training in other great Italian, Spanish or German J/70 events before and after the worlds!

... And next year take it to the 2024 World Championship 💪 scheduled in Palma de Mallorca, Spain 🏝️

No, it's factory spec. No illegal mods done to the boat.
