If there is no legal basis for interfering the government should stay out of it. Do you support the Biden Administration and congress interfering in the rail workers negotiations?
I support that the Biden administration and Congress have a legal basis for taking the action that they are currently taking with respect to the prospective railroad strike to which most reasonable people would understand that you are referring.

Nope, If true, the platform should be 'arrested' and deactivated as a threat to democracy. No compensation to shareholders, officers or owners. Musk bought the liability.

Full disclosure, FB also enabled election interference from Russia. I'm OK of they receive the same treatment. Trump was the beneficiary. Unfortunately we can't banish him. I'm willing to tow him outside the environment.

For years Twitter has had its finger on the scale in favor of Democrats and the political left. The response from leftists to criticism of this censorship has been "it's a private company, they can do what they want". Enter Musk and a new focus on free speech and these same people have their hair on fire.

"The problem is that censorship only works if it is complete. If there are alternative sources for information, free speech is like water . . . it finds a way out. That is why Democratic members pressured cable carriers to drop Fox News, the most popular cable news network on television. (For the record, I appear as a Fox News legal analyst). Having an echo chamber on every other news channel means little if alternative views or stories are just a click away.

The same is true for print media. With the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, and a few other newspapers, the effort to kill stories like the Hunter Biden laptop could not be completely successful. The truth found a way out and now the same outlets that peddled the false “Russian disinformation” claim are admitting that the laptop is authentic.

The threat is an even greater on social media, the area of greatest success for those seeking to control political discourse. If Musk carries through on his pledge, the public will have a free speech alternative and they are already speaking loudly by signing up with the company in record numbers. Despite a creepy Facebook advertising campaign to convince the public to embrace censorship, it has not worked".

Ohmigod the tears being shed over how the laptop story was unable to swing the election in favor of TFG are so delicious!

How dare mean and nasty Americans prevent a last minute gossip story that was just BEGGING to go viral from being used by Rudy G and the ilk to sow anger and division among voters!

Only with time can stories like this one be evaluated and recognized for the possible but not prosecutable turd they turn out to be.

But just before the election, the GOP didn’t HAVE time. They needed an unthinking press to run with it and alter the election!

Not just unfair. SO unfair!!

Cry more, my pretties! 😭😭😭😂

More like another re-pre-announcement.

Semis just aren't a good use case for BEVs. Maybe local trucks could work, like the trucks at container terminals repositioning loads for trains. But long haul trucking would have huge batteries which cut into the load capacity.

Without any real knowledge, this is what I assumed, but it would be great if they work!

This is a perfect example for how twisted average ham and egger Democrats are, they mock , insult , deride and wish ill upon any and all that are not in lockstep with their political and social views.
This is a man of historical importance, a true visionary and example of the American dream and what is possible in our system of governance which is based on personal freedom and responsibility. They wish him failure in his purchase of Tweeter , they don’t recognize that he is the champion of innovation in Electric Cars because he does not bow to their narrow exclusionary vision of what “they “ say America “should “be .

I believe most of the early customers are planning to use them from hubs where the truck will return each day. I can see that making sense.
