Twitter today, compared to Twitter of even a couple of weeks ago, is a right-wing fantasy factory. I see very few of the people I follow, but lots of people screeching their fascist bullshit. I have had people I block come back to life on my feed. Twitter is fucked, it's going to be fighting for market share with Gab.

The content moderation on Twitter had much less to do with the so-called 1st Amendment "free speech" the RWNJ's use to justify hate speech than it did with advertising. Allow hate speech on your platform and the advertisers flee, as Elmo has discovered.
I think they were "Trump's" FBI and DOJ during Clinton's campaign and the Russian cooperation to elect Trump was investigated and evidence presented by a Republican lead congressional committee and a Trump DOJ.

Based on casual observation of America and the place it’s becoming, you are wrong. If Hypothetical Dog claims Jews are evil and should die, If he claims the deli on market street is especially evil and if he repeats this message even once after being warned, he should be banned.
If he owners ignore warnings by the community and don’t ban Hypo Dog, I believe there should be liability for the new owners for knowingly harboring a rabid dog. Worse, if they amplify his yap by computer algorithms SA currently lacks, they promote the hate speech by and make it more prominent on peoples feeds. Then the forum’s exposure is extreme should the deli be attacked by Trump’s minions or other violent right wing republicans. In my world, that would be enough to bankrupt the forum and force a fire sale. Insurance doesn’t have to protect a business deliberately creating or ignoring a hazard for profit. Fortunately our dog, though fated with the temperament of a chihuahua, isn’t rabid.
