I guarded SD City seasonal summer of 76 after I got out of USN and some of summer 77 before I got picked up in FD. Perhaps your 12 year old libido was easily impressed or I was there on “off days”…..but….nope.

You’re right about the walk in from Shores past Scripps and the tide. There were usually only two, occasionally 3 guards there and at high tide there was no Jeep backup so you were on your own unless the state guards wandered in from the north side. All in all I mostly liked guarding there. Fair number of rescues….which is the whole point…..but very little in the way of good “cookouts” to mooch a little chow.
All it took was the two young tanned women on their backs covered in oil just past the clothing optional sign for me so my sample was far smaller than yours.

I remember inviting a couple of hot beach babes to join me and my surfer buddy to join us for an early morning Blacks Beach mission. We took the long hike down the access road and it was cold and foggy on the beach. My buddy and I convinced our dates to just throw their towels down and wait for the sun to burn the morning fog off. We paddled out and had a pretty cold surf session in the dreary fog and then I could smell the scent of coconut oil and knew that our dates were enjoying the sunshine on the beach as things warmed up as the day progressed. Out in the line up we could see that the sun was now shining on the beach and we could smell out dates slathering the coconut oil on their perfect beach girl bodies while we we freezing in the Pacific chill waters. The surf had been somewhat dissappointing so we paddeled in to check out the sunny scene on the beach. We came paddling in and found our dates surrounded by the exibitionist element of the nude beach assholes surrounding our clueless dates as to what was going on. We grabbed the girls and made a hasty exit!

I had just arrived in Freemantle. Staying in Peppermint Grove. Woke up in the morning an headed towards Challenger Harbour. There was Leighton Beach along the way with many nymphs "sans habilement" frolicking in the water. I stopped the bike. I was mesmerized. After a bit, a woman came up behind me and spat out "Pervert". I came back with "I'm not a pervert. I'm an Canadian".

They are afraid of questions if foreskin statuses vary. That's what I meant. David prompted a lot of surreptitious library visits. We had not seen those in the 60s where I was.

Coming back to the OP...

For parents to consider that showing a picture of the statue of David to your kid is pornographic, is showing how twisted your mind is, to say the least.
The same people that get indignant about bare-assed babies at the beach.

Seriously disturbed.
