We turned that feature on years ago when it was first available.

It ended badly, but I don't remember why, exactly. But we ended up turning it off, though who had created special titles ended up keeping them.

Let me help you Billy. If you don't read through to the last post it will stay in bold. Try clicking next page to get to the end of the thread and it will be "unbolded".

Just realizing they set the posts/page at 20.

If you want to up it to, say, "Show 50 posts per page", you will need to do that with every fucking thread.

Thanks. But, this upgrade has been tedious. Too many changes were made on our behalf, only to leave us to "figure it out".

Why have the option to choose posts per page in every thread, and that only works on THAT thread? Then, place a control in preferences that overrides it and makes it apply across ALL threads? That makes no sense.

There's a GA thread where it's been explained by the admin bloke. If I'm understanding you correctly, I'm not experiencing what you are.

Using iPad, not seeing a zoom, tried increasing in setting which works for newspapers and such but this font seems locked due to stylesheet.

Despite my initial bitching and complaining, almost everything we asked for was provided.

I gather it premiered as a limited kindergarten forum and hidden features can be activated by the admin. I can see why they wouldn't leave the whole Pandora's Box open as a starting point. There are probably other features that can be unlocked and may be over time.

This happens every time, we'll all adjust. Trust me. Why they inverted the poster/date bewilders me. I've clicked on the poster out of habit many times. For us old-timers, it was a minor upgrade. Way back when many argued about splitting a single forum into today's number. Imagine if it was still one. Have patience.

It works well.

You can hover over someone and just add them. They just *poof* disappear. You don't see their posts or threads.

The REALLY BIG improvement is they're not Ignored when people quote them, too. It was harder in the last version when people would quote someone's attacks and bullshit you were trying to ignore, and you'd see it anyway.

If you click the "show ignored content" thing it shows all the Ignored user's content on the page, not just the one quote.
