OK, it's D-day for Oracle's first 72. Any spies out there? Need someone with their boat and a good lense to be Johnny on the Spot. Still no web-cams that show Pier 80, is there?
Do we have any idea if the Artemis wing is on-site, let alone fixed?I want to see pictures of an AC72 (Oracle or Artemis or both) sailing around with L'Hydropetre. It is possible it could happen this week!
Heard from some informed sources that security at the base is pretty tight, even for some supplying parts to the campaign.Do we have any idea if the Artemis wing is on-site, let alone fixed?I want to see pictures of an AC72 (Oracle or Artemis or both) sailing around with L'Hydropetre. I thought it was supposed to be today? Maybe it was the week of the 27th?Heard the launch will be on Tuesday to check out the steering, boards, etc.
If everything checks out the wing may go in on Wednesday for the inaugural sail, but we'll see,
The wing is on site, has been for some time. There is a large group from King Marine working on it and from what info I can gather itHeard from some informed sources that security at the base is pretty tight, even for some supplying parts to the campaign.Do we have any idea if the Artemis wing is on-site, let alone fixed?I want to see pictures of an AC72 (Oracle or Artemis or both) sailing around with L'Hydropetre. should be ready in about 2 weeks. My guess is that they will test it on the Tri first before putting it on the cat.

Huh???
Seems logical. If you're worried about it falling over again, why have it land on all the crunchy bits of your new ride? Not to mention, it'll let them do wing testing without starting the 30 day clock. The wing is on site, has been for some time. AlamedaBut sticking with Artemis for a moment:

J-Bird, which 'site' did you mean in the above? Alameda or Valencia. Where do you think the 'Orma72' is?
I had not heard, yet, that they brought the tri over, as well. Has anyone seen it?AlamedaBut sticking with Artemis for a moment:

Makes sense, though, if they have moved their whole camp over, and the ability to work the wings on the tri with unlimited time.
