ORC Doublehanded World Championships - 2022

I figured as much with the farr wanting to have 5 people on the rail for racing. The Dehler a do have water ballast options and I noticed the very showing none for the m30+. It just seemed interesting to look at the design differences and compare the RM on the 30ft which has rm that you see on bigger boats/sail plans.

The team looks like it’s a very well put together and the boat looks good. Two pro sailors in a well setup yacht seems like a recipient for success.

I wasn’t sure if they designed it for rules optimization or go fast mode. I just tinker and read yacht design books when I have time and was really curious about the design as the website was a bit lacking.

That d30 vid is solid.

This article on North Sails explains why some of the choices on the Z30+ are what they are. It's in Swedish, but quite ok translated with Google translate
