I gotta give him credit for creativity.

As fake pissed as the Company was in the articles about this, just wait six months to when they quietly outsource the rest of their development work to China.

The frequency of you idiots posting to this forum leads me to suspect that you are all doing the same thing.

Oh wait...

Lazy fuck.
Yea, a lazy fuck making sereeral hundred thousand dollars a year...... Not so bad.

"The Verizon investigation suggested Bob's entrepreneurial outsourcing spirit stretched across several companies in his area -- netting him several hundred thousand dollars a year as he paid out about $50,000 a year to his China-based ghost writers, according to hundreds of PDF invoices also discovered on his work computer."

Backstay, never bought a suit, never went to Vegas
"Presumably Bob's Chinese helpers were (terminated) as well."

I wouldn't presume that, not in China! They were probably immediately tasked with attempting to locate more coders like Bob to ghost write for.

Story is true, but there's more to it. As usual.

'Bob' sent his Mainland Chinese contractor(s) a RSA key so they could use his VPN tunnel into the company's systems. Huge security exposure, both for the company and its customers and clients. Violated a contract for sure. If the company was doing defense or other government work, he may go to prison and/or get deported.

'Bob' is probably ethnic Chinese himself; mama says Cousin Lau needs a job... Trouble is, Lau may be a front for, or a member of, a PLA industrial theft group.

Only if one measures their success and life-worth by monetary means. I don't. The rewards of success after a lot of hard work is far greater to me.
