First starts are today and the race organizers choice to start different classes on different days has effectively given the overall prizes to the boats that start on Friday. Well done again.
And Transpac, Cabo, PV, etc. But doesn't the same thing happen down the track if they all start together with the faster boats in different conditions anyway?

Today at 3:00 just south of the Bay Area.

Going to take a while to get to to real wind.

Was that you driving 45, taking pictures down 1 this afternoon? :cautious::LOL:

I'm intrigued by where CruzSea Baby and the Cal 40's are today, but if I could pick someone to be on the race course right now, I'd choose Foamy. I hope those up north can thread a line south in the next day, but it looks pretty unlikely.

Light low pressure sailing remains the name of the game for Mon and Tues starts. Reminds me a lot of 2000 and 2010 Pac cups. It is going to be interesting to see how the race plays out for the two Cal 40's. As noted above, Foamy has committed to the south game plan. This could be a key move.
