That pushpit was my favourite spot when solo. MFD right in front of you, traveller in your lap and steer with a toe if you got bored with the pilot.

No. Mine. Mungral 25 The Spanish Inquistion (ex Canterbury). I bought it from Fred. Photo is of Sailing South Race Week run by the RYCT back in the early 2000's. The other boat is Matt Allen's Far 52 Ichi Ban.

Every time I see a J24 pic like this it makes me smile and warms the cockles of this old, cold, bitter heart; knowing that one more of these miserable, over-rated painboxes has left its mortal coil, never to be seen again.

Don’t know what it was about Evergreen that made me so obsessed back in the day. I was in, what…middle school…? Collected every magazine picture I could find for my locker. Would have big arguments about its merits with my pilot-house, full keel loving dad. Still something about this boat that grabs me
