Never lost it.
If Roger Waters ever had it, he has completely lost it.

He is a hypocritical multi-millionaire crazy white pig. A conspiracy theory fuckwit. Fuck Roger Waters.

A week before Russia invaded Ukraine, Waters told an interviewer on Russia Today that talk of a Russian invasion was “bullshit ... anybody with an IQ above room temperature knows [an invasion] is nonsense”

All his talk about boycotting Israel, and not a single word about Chagos, an entire nation stolen by Britain in the golden days of Pink Floyd, an entire population, an entire ethnic group deported and abandoned by Britain, and still trying to return home.

Where is the campaign to boycott Britain? Why isn't he shouting genocide????

Fucking imperialist pig. Fuck you Roger Waters.

I sat with a bottle of wine and listened to dark side of the moon and wish you were here the other night. While there's certainly songs in there that I really enjoyed I didn't get the mind blowing experience so many people seem to reminisce about... Maybe it my substance of choice?

In no way am I saying it's bad, but I wouldn't say it's life altering.

The problem is that you sat with the bottle of wine. You are supposed to drink the bottle of wine. Highly recommend having half a glass five minutes before dropping the needle on the platter, then as the music starts highly suggest a toke or three off of da kind. Toss in a couple of college age girls in mid 70’s clothing and hair, you’ll have a technicolor religious experience.

It isn't - they are simply extraordinarily good music.

However, I will say that seeing the promo tour for Dark Side blasted on acid and weed was a mind altering experience.

Saw Floyd at Knebworth 1975.  A few tunes from Meddle, all of DSOTM, and all of WYWH, a month or so before the album was released. Heard all those songs for the first time, live. Their live sound and mix quality was stunning for those days.

Missed the first few support acts, saw Captain Beefheart and Steve Miller.

A 6-pack of Newcastle Brown for hydration (it was a long show) and a slab of cheap Moroccan hash. My buddy had a little lump of Black Nepalese, which was alleged to have some opium in it.

I have a crystal-clear memory of the gig, and none at all of the train  ride back to London.....

British rock band Pink Floyd is exploring a sale of its recorded music catalog, which includes some of the best-selling albums in history.

Representatives for the band have reached out to potential buyers, according to three people familiar with the matter who asked to not be identified because the discussions are private. The process began in the last few days, and it’s too early to know what the outcome will be, they said. Representatives of the band didn’t respond to requests for comment.
